Description

This Cable Location Including Non-Destructive Digging Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) covers hazards and controls associated with cable locating and using a non-destructive digging unit.

This SWMS covers High-Risk Construction Work (HRCW) controls related to:

·          Movement of mobile powered plant

·          Working near live underground services

Additional controls are included for job planning, checking work area for existing hazards, site plant mobilisation, potholing, backfilling excavation, mark out excavations, use of non-destructive digging unit, removal of spoil using a non-destructive digging unit, working in hazardous environmental conditions and emergency situations.
