This Pipelaying & Drainage Installations Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) covers hazards and controls associated with Pipelaying & Drainage Installations.
This SWMS covers High-Risk Construction Work (HRCW) controls related to:
· Movement of mobile powered plant
· Working near live overhead powerlines
· Working near live underground services
· Working in excvations greater than 1.5m
Additional controls are included for job planning, checking existing environment for hazards, site plant mobilisation, delivery and unloading of materials, setting out, installing erosion & sediment control, excavation of trenches, loading of trucks, installation of pipes, using trench shields, use of lasers, cutting exiting pipes, backfilling & compacting, refuelling plant, environmental hazards and emergency situations.
