This Traffic Control & Working in Traffic Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) covers hazards and controls associated with traffic control and working in traffic.
This SWMS covers High-Risk Construction Work (HRCW) controls related to:
· Working adjacent to a road used by traffic
· Movement of mobile powered plant
Additional controls are included for job planning, checking work area for existing hazards, site mobilisation, traffic management pre-start, traffic management set up, sign placement, loading/unloading temporary water barriers or concrete barriers, controlling traffic including lane closures, removal of cones, removal of signs, working in hazardous environmental conditions and emergency situations.
