This Structural Steel Installation Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) covers hazards and controls associated with the installation of structural steel.
This SWMS Covers High risk construction work (HRCW) controls related to:
· Movement of mobile powered plant
· Temporary support of structures
· Working at Heights Greater than 2m
· Working near artificial extremes of temperature
Additional controls are included for manual handling, traffic management, crainage when unloading/installing materials, using platform ladders, use of power tools, welding, slips, trips & falls, exposure to harmful weather conditions and emergency situations.
