This Operation of Telehandler Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) covers hazards and controls associated with using a telehandler.
This SWMS covers High-Risk Construction Work (HRCW) controls related to:
· Working around mobile powered plant
· Working near live overhead powerlines
Additional controls are included for job planning, checking work area for existing hazards, site plant loading and unloading, securing or releasing the load, selection of lifting equipment, use of boom extension, raising loads, walking a load, maintenance and refuelling, working in hazardous environmental conditions and emergency situations.
