This Operation of Forklift Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) covers hazards and controls associated with using a forklift.
This SWMS covers High-Risk Construction Work (HRCW) controls related to:
· Movement of mobile powered plant
· Working near live overhead powerlines
Additional controls are included for job planning, checking work area for existing hazards, site plant loading/unloading, securing or releasing the load, works pre-commencement, raising loads with the forklift, general use of forklift, maintenance and refuelling, working in hazardous environmental conditions and emergency situations.
