Operation of Crawler Crane SWMS

Description

This Operation of Crawler Crane Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) covers hazards and controls associated with using a crawler crane.

This SWMS covers High-Risk Construction Work (HRCW) controls related to:

·          Movement of mobile powered plant

·          Working near live overhead powerlines

Additional controls are included for job planning, checking work area for existing hazards, set up of work area, including structure capacity assessment, setting up crawler crane, pre lifting check, maintenance and refuelling, working in hazardous environmental conditions and emergency situations.
