This Boxing & Blinding Ground Slab Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) covers hazards and controls associated with forming and placing blinding material for ground slabs

This SWMS covers High-Risk Construction Work (HRCW) controls related to:

·          Movement of powered plant

·          Working near live overhead powerlines

·          Working near live underground services

Additional controls are included for job planning, checking existing environment for hazards, site plant mobilisation, delivery of materials, set out of works, using plant to blind the ground slab, blinding by hand, laying poly, placing, fixing & stripping materials, use of plant to place sections, use of formwork oil, plant refuelling, environmental conditions and emergency situations.
