Safe Work Method Statements

Under the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2007, a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) must be prepared before high risk construction work begins, if anyone’s health and safety is at risk because of the work, but SWMS can be used for any other work activities. Our SWMS are developed by an OHS Consultant and generated to fully comply with all of the statutory requirements of the OHS act throughout Australia and their associated OHS regulations & Australian/New Zealand Standards.

All of our SWMS:
List the type of high risk construction work being done
State the health and safety hazards and risks arising from that work
Describes how the risks will be controlled
Describes how the risk control measures will be put in place
